Another World was a self-produced branded documentary created with Spektra Skate, centered on professional skateboarder, photographer, and artist Aaron Hobgood.
Rooted in Aaron’s artistic journey, the film blends the raw truth of skateboarding with the beauty of self-discovery. It follows his struggle to land a trick as he explores how creativity, photography, and skateboarding have shaped how he sees the world.
We spent four days finding and capturing the story, building the film around Aaron’s perspective. His battle to land the trick gives the film a physical journey, while his own words about creativity and skateboarding give it an emotional one.
Photography, skating, art, and conceptual scenes come together to create a film that feels uniquely Aaron while connecting naturally to Spektra’s alien-inspired artwork and identity.
