TRIGGERED
Documentary Trailer
One shoot. Two days. A lifetime of impact.
Triggered documents the historic rollout of emotional intelligence training for West Virginia police, marking the first time a U.S. state has made EQ development mandatory for officers.
This proof-of-concept documentary was a collaboration between executive producers Mark and Nicole Pasternak, TalentSmartEQ, and our team at JECP.
With just 48 hours on the ground, we mapped out a full-scale production plan to capture deeply emotional testimony from key stakeholders and an inspiring transformation story from a formerly incarcerated individual whose life was changed by EQ. The result: a film that bridges policy, human emotion, and societal healing.
For us, this wasn’t just about camera work. It was about emotional resonance. We used our experience in doc-style storytelling, intentional casting, and production logistics to bring clarity and cinematic weight to a story that matters more than ever.
