Our main objective is to craft a music video & content to support and match the quality of Sound of Hunger while establishing a working relationship between Obsidian Mind and JECP. As much as we want this music video to be beautiful, we want to earn trust and form a long-term partnership.
Below we have listed a few options to review and tune back into us for scheduling, questions, or concerns. We're eager for you to dig in and review!
To ensure this video stands out and remains within the budget we want to double down on band performances, great lighting, and using resources to work this project together. This will be a band performance music video with supportive content to support pre-release, release, and follow-up on personal and main socials.
While this is a more simplistic video, I want us to establish a color palette, and great energy and market your likeness so in future videos, we are starting over but building upon this video. It's time to establish OM and move forward consistently.
The warehouse location might not seem flattering, but it has depth and natural items we can work to our advantage. Additionally, some painters plastic and haze will help strengthen the visual element for a great performance video.
Camera work and coaching will help bring out a compelling performance and make this video land. Additionally we plan on creating a full band look and single shots, mixing in some slow motion to create variety and visual interest to retain attention in the edit for your viewers.

Every project takes a similar approach to create success. The biggest factor is staying clear and transparent in communication. Both parties want a project to work smoothly. Pre-production requires syncing everyone’s schedules, securing gear, locations, and freelancers, as well as preparing wardrobe, MU, and props. We run a tight ship with to-do’s for all parties and that’s how we deliver such consistent projects and experiences for our clients. This will be our mark for nailing the bands performance, energy and varied framing to keep the viewers attention.
I want to bring this level of lighting/production to a certain degree with some more practical set design elements. We will also use full band and single-member shots to create varied looks, keep the viewer's attention and focus on details in the band. I also have a set of stock footage b-roll we could use similar to this video to create a new visual layer. Some images are attached in the mood board!

We see this as a bridge to finally building a healthy relationship with Obsidian Mind + Co. The artists we work with are driven and care for their futures and see JECP as a partner in creative decisions. We want to evolve our artists and give a pro-level treatment in return for trust in the creative process.
We are gifting pre-production and partial post-production costs, leaving only production-related costs untouched as we can't shift industry rates and labor hours. The discounts in each quote are reflected in these areas. Additionally, I'm gifting travel days and covering our own lodging, food, and gas to make this project more possible and cost-effective. We love the song and want to build on your journey with you, even if it costs a little up front.

Once we have an agreement, we officially enter pre-production, setting dates, securing locations, props, gear, team, and all the small things in between.
