PROPOSAL EXPIRES

APRIL 12TH

RADIC LSM & NVER,

Our main objective is to craft a multi-film campaign to support your upcoming releases, build brand awareness while establishing a working relationship between NVER, Radic LSM and JECP. As much as we want these music videos to be beautiful, we want to earn trust and form a long-term partnership.

Below we have listed a few options to review and tune back into us for scheduling, questions, or concerns. We're eager for you to dig in and review!

CREATIVE

OVERVIEW

We want to level up the production for both of these videos to make a big splash for NVER. The core element is finding a throughline element from one video to the next. The main areas will be great band performances and solid color theory. Our first video (Lies) will live darker and more story-driven, which we believe will still support red as a core color but introduce more color pop through lighting and props. This video should feel less low-key dark and more color pop commercial. Editing style will play a significant role in making that video feel huge and receptive to a bigger audience pool, differentiating NVER right out the gate with two strong videos as the foundation and several deliverables.

Strategically we want to make the budget go as far as possible by pooling together a budget and streamlining the production process into 1-2 days to save long-term dollars and make each video feel like $20-30k budgets.

LIES

We see this as the introduction video to the band, so getting this one right is crucial. At its core, it's 80% band performance and 20% creative b-roll to share an idea around trauma and boundary crossing. This concept will be relatable and move the story along in a cinematic way.

With this song, the energy goes from ghostly and impactful, so we want to make sure cinematography and lighting match the energy and provide a feeling the viewer will stay engaged with. The more elegant shots can have a smoother feel, while the aggressive can ramp up in editing, motion, and tone. Much of this can be shaped through lighting.

With this being the first, I want our team to take the time to be critical of energy in the band shots, so we are hitting on as many takes as possible. This will significantly impact the edit and final film. We have a few videos we love in the reference section for this video and stills in the mood board.

From a story structure standpoint and making the most of the budget, we want to lean more surreal and build a bedroom set within the studio and go more metaphoric with a female character being challenged and disrespected and showcasing the feelings around this disrespect. Rather than ending helplessly, we want to see her break free from their inner demons and face them head-on. I want to know this character goes away, leaving her as the winner showcasing the power of facing fears and life's challenges.

BELIEVE

This song is bold and brave, and we want to ensure this video hits the same way. I want a growth point from Lies to this video in seeing the same great band shots but bringing this together in production and post well. There's a difference between the Top proposal and the Traditional. Both should feel more unique, but in different ways.

Being in Ohio, we have Hollywood-level tools at significantly discounted rates. Two things are the BOLT Robot arm and the 30' Volumetric LED Wall (Mandalorian). The Bolt is a 20-30K/day tool, and the LED wall is 15-20K/day, but we can get this for significantly less due to our relationship with OHD and would love to bring this to NVER if standing out truly is a desire. No other band will have this touch and feel. Please note that working with this technology, we must work together to make the best art and be safe. We've done a handful of Bolt-related shoots, and while it sounds exciting, we like to address the commitment required. It takes time and respect from all parties to make it work and bring the gap with the LED wall; there's a tremendous amount of time we have to set aside for pre-production to make it possible.

In short, the creative we could see using is more futuristic with moving lighting, creative camera motion, and high energy feelings all around. Of course, this creative could be shaken out, but we would love to make something very different and powerful to elevate Ohio Artists to a more Hollywood level.

Now robot arms and LED walls aside, I'm happy to stick to the more traditional creative and build off lighting the white walls in the studio and set design for strong band shots and use a multi-cam frame within frame editing to make something feel epic and to bring a more high-key lighting style, like in the Neck Deep video. This video is open to discussion.

Verbal Inspirations: Energetic, Fashion-forward, world-building

HOW WE DO,
WHAT WE DO

THE JECP WAY

By being consistent, persistent, and dependable, while treating people as people we will deliver great experiences for both our clients and team,

showcasing JECP as an example of great leadership in creativity, business practices, and community building,

ultimately leading to return customers, great word of mouth,

and earning a positive reputation for

care for our craft, service, and industry.

We work with artists and freelancers who embody these values,

as it ensures forward progress, creative outcomes,

and a culture of learners.

While providing a service has created a business,

in each aspect, we strive to create a personal and human feeling

to make all of this fun and approachable.

Our main goal is for these projects to establish a relationship over a transaction, and if we truly succeed,

we create a transformation in our artists.

Curious

Our leadership embodies "asking why" and embracing the exciting and challenging conversations that drive relationships forward.

Understanding our partner's needs is our foundation. We remain open-minded to ensure people's viewpoints are heard, cultivating the best projects consistently.

honest

There's a lack of accountability, ethics, and gatekeeping within the music industry.

We do honest work with clear intentions; ethics are king in our decision-making.

We believe this leads to personal trust and the healthiest work setting, community, and vulnerability.

supportive

We partner with those who value a focus on growth, sustainability, and proactive momentum.

These efforts make for win-win-win scenarios, celebrating success together. The success of each artist and creative supports the success of the next. We make each play one at a time, realizing the long game takes a group effort by our team and our clients.

OUR RECIPE

Every project takes a similar approach to create success. The biggest factor is staying clear and transparent in communication. Both parties want a project to work smoothly. We aim to reduce stress and answer questions, so we are in the most creative production mindset. Pre-production requires syncing everyone’s schedules, securing gear, locations, and freelancers, as well as preparing wardrobe, MU, and props. We run a tight ship with to-do’s for all parties and that’s how we deliver such consistent projects and experiences for our clients. Our ask is that clients respect the process and help us gather information and confirm along the way.  Let’s make it a win-win scenario.

CLIENT NOTE

We see this as a bridge to building a healthy relationship with Radic LSM x NVER + Co. The artists we work with are driven and care for their futures and see JECP as a partner in creative decisions. We want to evolve our artists and give pro-level treatment in return for trust in the creative process.

When looking at this creative, please note we are gifting pre-production, and a portion of post-production, to keep costs down while still maintaining QC for the project. We see this as an opportunity for JECP to grow and bring Radic into the mix for more projects as a partner.

what's next?

review. decide. Sign.

Take some time to look the full proposal over together, ask questions, and on our next call, we can dig into the nitty-gritty. We can decide which option suits you best and draw up the invoice, contract, and other paperwork needed to make it official during this call.

FEAR CULTURE

"They excel at so many things; it's almost scary.

The amount of planning they put into every project is unmatched.

It's comforting to see how much they care about the project

and how every single detail is thought out well before the shoot date."
