MUSIC VIDEO CAMPAIGN
Our main objective craft 1 or 2 music videos for ENMY's next chapter. With the competition of the EP in January and these two new tracks releasing we will be evolving this visual campaign as an opportunity to give a fan base something fresh. We will continue forward past elements of visuals, mostly from the artwork, borrowing the blue tone with accents like yellow and pink.
While the last chapter was about experiencing difficulties and a feeling of being alone, we want to celebrate this new chapter with a focus on story-telling with growth, working through the feelings of isolation and reflection of character. These elements will exist within visuals metaphorically. Overall, the audience should feel a sense of progress in your story, and sonically and we are here to support that.
Review the below proposal, collect your questions and concerns and let's schedule a time to review together and determine how and when we can move forward best! We're excited to make something happen in 2022 and eager to chat.
We want to deliver two music videos that showcase the band and add some more creative flavor to styling, lighting, story, and showcase this new chapter with a better visual representation. Blue will be a primary driver of color theory and we will use lighting and practical props in accent colors of green, blue, pink, yellow, and red.
This video will have more emphasis on creative lighting, two looks for the band and sprinkling in some interesting b-roll. The b-roll will focus on the vocalist facing himself as two characters. While it may seem simple, one area we feel can help evolve this video is to add make-up to the band, embracing grit, almost like they are charred or changed or challenged in life's struggle. So while lighting will lead the charge, we can also be creative with our styling.
The b-roll creative is loose, but ultimately we want to showcase the duality within ourselves and that we have ownership in our decisions, choosing to stay where we are or moving through things, even if it's hard.
Verbal Inspirations: Transformation, Time, Dirty, Charred
From a format standpoint, this song provides the best basis for a heavier emphasis on narrative with the support of the band. We want to create two worlds. The band's perspective will be clean in an all-white studio and we would like the band to work on gathering clothing that is similar in tone. Most times bands do the dark attire look and if we could we would love to find items in the grey to a white color family to embrace a sterile feeling.
In contrast to the story, we want to take a character into a dark and gritty setting to juxtapose the sterile clean look of the band. Loosely the story would have a character within a dirty water setting, somewhat submerged in oil and dark water. Bridging these together we will shoot macro shots of ink dye into the water with various colors, symbolizing emotions from pain, anxiety, excitement, etc, hinting at the fact we are inside the mind and these explosions of color symbolize a chemical reaction happening. Plenty of this will be refined but the idea is to showcase how growth happens through the grit and embrace of life's emotions and challenges.
Verbal Inspirations: Sterile, Minimalist, Connected, Numb, Distortion, Reflective
PROPOSAL ONE | Full Campaign proposal serving 2 Music Videos, the traditional deliverables.
PROPOSAL TWO | Stripping back the story and b-roll for both videos making two performance-only videos OR focusing on only one of the videos for the day.
HOW WE DO,
WHAT WE DO
OUR CORE VALUES
By being consistent, persistent and dependable, while treating people as people we will deliver great experiences for both our clients and team, showcasing JECP as an example of great leadership in creativity, business practices, and community building, ultimately leading to return customers, great word of mouth and earning a positive reputation for care to our craft, service, and industry.
We work with artists and freelancers who embody these values, as it ensures forward progress, creative outcomes, and a culture of learners.
We want mutual relationships that support each other. We try to remain open-minded so we can ensure people's viewpoints are heard and the best projects are delivered consistently. We chase great experiences over being right.
Within the music industry, there's such a lack of accountability, ethics, and gatekeeping. We do honest work, with clear intentions. The work we do is exciting and fun, but egos get checked at the door. Great work happens with trust and trust is built on honesty.
We seek the best answers, not to be right, but to make the best work. Learn to learn and you can do anything.
We are in each project together. The success of each artist and creative supports the success of the next. We make each play one at a time, realizing the long game takes a group effort by our team and our clients.
While providing a service has created a business, each aspect we strive to create a personal and human feeling to make all of this fun and approachable. The number one piece we hope is for these projects to establish a relationship over a transaction.
Every project takes a similar approach to create success. The biggest factor is staying clear and transparent in communication. Both parties want a project to work smoothly. We aim to reduce stress and answer questions, so we are in the most creative production mindset. Pre-production requires syncing everyone’s schedules, securing gear, locations, and freelancers, as well as preparing wardrobe, MU, and props. We run a tight ship with to-do’s for all parties and that’s how we deliver such consistent projects and experiences for our clients. Our ask is that clients respect the process and help us gather information and confirm along the way. Let’s make it a win-win scenario.
We run our productions in a clean and fast time frame. We ask that clients be respectful of the schedule, but understand that perfection can take time. Work with us, and we will all create the best project. We try to stay on schedule while being open to ideas that can make the project its best.
Internally we work through our rough cut to a fine cut for clients to fast track a single set of revisions. We can prioritize one piece over the other into a list we work down. 30-60 days turnaround time with one round of revisions. Bills at $100/hr with additional revisions.
See each package for a specific breakdown of contents and differentiation. The list below is a general approach for base-level JECP projects.

There are a few elements we love here, but mostly that the visuals are creative and inspiring, and easily digestible. The digital overlay and projector scenes are something we want to borrow and play with for band shots to bring new life to what music videos can be while also borrowing from the artwork styling on the LOST and NEVER HEALING. This is a key way for us to create consistency for the ENMY brand in this campaign. We see this as a good style for Burn, but building in more emphasis on band both together and individual.
RED SUN RISING
This is a fantastic band video, but the main thing we are focused on are color, grit, and distortion. With these new songs about growth and reflection, we want to focus novocaine in a similar fashion. With that track being about a numb feeling we wanted to pull into brain chemistry and the action of a drug-like feeling and chemical reaction. Our goal is to make a world that feels hyper-clean and plugged in for the band. Think sterile and juxtapose that with a dark and gritty inner mind world. The character would live here and grow here, eventually realizing the real-world grit is the better world.

In taking on this project at a discounted rate, we want to clarify why, deeper than doing a favor. We see this as a bridge into finally building a healthy relationship with ENMY. The artist we work with is driven and care for their futures and see JECP as a partner in creative decisions. We want to evolve the brand and give a pro-level treatment in return for trust in the creative.
We are gifting pre-production and post-production costs, leaving only production-related costs.
review. decide. Sign.
Take some time to look the full proposal over together, ask questions, and on our next call, we can dig into the nitty-gritty. We can decide which option suits you best and draw up the invoice, contract, and other paperwork needed to make it official during this call.
Once we have an agreement, we officially enter pre-production, setting dates, securing locations, props, gear, team, and all the small things in between.
