This simple music video was used as a refresher to new material and kept a project streamlined to hit a fast turnaround for the label while giving a strong visual aide, highlighting the band's chaotic energy and personality and using an available warehouse, making this video affordable and collaborative.
Heavy things old friends traditional
The Old Friends video lives in the performance-only realm but was highly stylized with a room of fake flowers, creative design overlays and match the quirks of the track with intentional art direction, high-end editing effects and care to light, framing, and energy, making this a staple in JECP's and Heavy Things video catalog.
Inferious campaign TWO-A-DAY CUSTOM
Itching into the handcrafted side of performance videos, we often stretch the format with some storytelling elements. In the case of Inferious, we kept one video of only the vocalist and b-roll, another with single band shots + matching b-roll, and the third as the core video with a simple performance and a more elaborate storyline. Custom campaigns can be a way to save money long-term through more planned campaigns and meeting an EP or LP marketing budget in a streamlined effort giving us more resources to problem solve and our artists more deliverables.
